Curiosity to Reality

Teachers are the forgers of students’ key to success! There are two types of teachers—primary and secondary. The primary teachers are the ones who taught us the basics of life and living such as walk, talk, eat and taught us manners and the likes. They armored us to protect us from afar. This type of teachers is naturally teachers the moment they had us and they are allowed to teach even without license—they are lawless. They would everything for their leaners—us. They are our source of strength from the very beginning. On the other hand, secondary teachers are those who dreamt and struggled to become one—mostly. This type of teachers is licensed and abides rules and regulations laid by the so-called government. These teachers build second home for us and equip us with the knowledge we need in facing the harsh environment of reality. Hence, these two teachers are our parents and our school teachers, respectively. These two types of teachers may have differences but what they have...

MS OFFICE WORKSHOP Technology is a tool mankind has wished for. Thus, mankind has yet to discover the depth of this tool. This could be of liability or asset depending on how we’d utilize it. For now, let’s talk about the latter. The advent of technology opened as well as closed many doors. It opened a lot of doors for learning, advancement and innovation. It also closed many doors for yesteryears tradition. Primitive teachings may not work anymore to the new sets of 21 st century learners. The use of blackboards, “ bitay max ” and the likes are of yesteryears and today, with the generation Z learners, usage of advance technology is of great help to cope up with the fast-pacing 21 st century learners. Most of these learners are more attracted to presentations that move, that involve pictures and music and the likes. They are hungry for something new. Thus, the use of MS PowerPoint is of great benefit to feed these cravings for something new. In addition, with ...

Video editing  is the process of manipulating and rearranging video shots to create a new work. Editing is usually considered to be one part of the  post production  process — other post-production tasks include titling, colour correction, sound mixing, etc. Many people use the term  editing  to describe all their post-production work, especially in non-professional situations. Whether or not you choose to be picky about terminology is up to you. Nowadays, students are so absorbed with what the technology has brought to mankind. Apparently, students’ attention has been really difficult to clasp. Some things ascend one after another and there are only few we can grasp at the moment. With this, it is paramount to make learning really fun. On that note, learning to produce a video would really be helpful in establishing a fun learning. The video editing seminar taught us that video making is one way to make learning fun. It only takes a creative...

Behind the Waves of Signals

RADIO HENERAL Not so long ago when we had our theatre presentation. We worked as a group with different students of different colleges. It was really difficult at first, when most of the student do not participate, when most of them do not attend group meetings. Thus, a leader must stand and take actions when things like this happen. Only a leader with confidence, authority, and sympathy can take control of these “ pasaways. ” Fortunately for us, we had that type of leader. He/she was able to unite us and because of this, we succeeded. Behind the waves of signals produced by the radio are individuals who work hard to produce desirable programs for the listeners. But before those desirable programs, come the blood and sweat of the group to brainstorm concepts for these programs and the efforts to make these concepts feasible. Starting from the scripts, castings, music to mini studio, all these were as hard as learning to cook where you try and try until you die! Kiddin...

The difference between the cameras today from then is not only their size but also the quality of images they produce. Changes and innovations happen to establish improvements. People’s passion for capturing moments has been around for an awfully long time and there's more out there than you might think. During our journey to achieving this variety of images, I realized that the job is actually not that easy. You’d have to take many shots and afterwards, you’d pick among your hundred captures which one is the best. You repeat and repeat and repeat until the best shot. You’d even go to the peaks of the mountains just to share a very well captured photo. And this fixation to have a nice photo is not really surprising! People love to see beautiful things and photography offers us a somehow eternal solid representation of beautiful through pictures. In addition, I realized that these photographers are the dedicated, passionate and sometimes half...

Domo! Watashi wa Mokamad Rahima desu! I penetrated my mother's egg cell, as a sperm of my father, sometime in January 1996. Probably. And so, I was born on the 22nd day of October 1997 at Simuay Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao. Currently, I stay at my Aunt's house, together with my father, at Labangal, GSC. The one who carried me for 9mons is Fatima Haron and I am Gapor Mokamad's former sperm. I finished my elementary at my home town. And after elementary, I thought that 7 years (including kindergarten) have really burnt every layer of my cells out. So, I compensated myself a year of rest and peace of mind from school and stuff. I basically didn't enter highschool right after elementary. Afterwhich, I went to GenSan to continue my studies and came to Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges as a literal hillbilly. Good thing the people weren't that difficult to be close with. During my senior years, I/we took the MSU-Sa...
